The short version
- The calculators work without an account. Values entered for a calculation are sent to this site's calculation endpoint, and the site does not retain them as a per-visitor calculation history.
- The site does not run advertising or sell calculator results. Google Analytics 4 is enabled through Google Site Kit for aggregate site measurement; Google may process usage data and set measurement cookies according to its own terms and settings.
- The site does not use calculator, PDF request, or feedback records for advertising or behavioral analytics. The optional behavior telemetry feature is currently disabled.
- The hosting server also records technical request data, including IP address, request path, time, status, browser details, and referrer, in access logs.
What happens when you run a calculator
When you calculate, the values you entered are sent to this site's calculation endpoint so the server can evaluate the formula and return the result, intermediate values, and substituted formula. The calculator does not save those values as a per-visitor calculation history. Separately, the hosting server records technical request data in its access log as described below.
Calculator requests do not require a public account. WordPress authentication cookies are used for signed-in WordPress sessions, and Google Analytics may use measurement cookies when its active configuration permits them.
Information you choose to send
- Request a clean PDF download. The form collects an email address, optional name, calculator release, page ID, source path, and the checkbox status. The site uses these details to gate a clean PDF download and record the request. After a successful request, the PDF is generated by this site and downloaded by your browser; it is not emailed. Skipping the form still downloads a watermarked PDF. If you select the optional follow-up checkbox, that status is stored as unverified; the current site does not send a verification email or operate an updates subscription or unsubscribe list.
- Feedback on a calculator. Submitting feedback stores the problem type, your message, and the calculator and release it concerns. Limited context may include the page path without query parameters or fragments, input field identifiers, and error code, path, status, or source where applicable; submitted field values are not included in that context. The form does not ask for or record your email address. Because the message is free text, do not include sensitive personal or confidential information. Use Contact if you want to email the operator.
- Contact. Contact is a mailto link, not a site form. If you use it, your mail application sends the message to the administrator address shown on the page. The message is handled by the email providers and mailbox involved; their processing and retention practices apply. This site cannot verify mailbox retention.
What is stored, and for how long
- Calculator runs: not retained as identifiable records. Results exist for the duration of the request and the page you are looking at.
- PDF download lead records: configured for deletion after 365 days by the site maintenance task. Earlier deletion can be requested through Contact.
- Feedback: automatically generated calculation or PDF error feedback records are configured for deletion after 90 days. Feedback you submit yourself is not covered by that automatic cleanup and remains until handled or deleted by the operator. Separate operational diagnostics record the request ID, calculator and release, event source, error code and field path, validation reason and type information, optional allowed bounds, and timestamp; they do not contain the entered field value. Diagnostics are configured for deletion after 90 days.
- PDF generation usage records: configured for deletion after 90 days by the site maintenance task.
- Rate limiting: anonymous requests use a truncated hash derived from the request IP; authenticated requests use the WordPress user ID. The rate-limit table stores that identifier with the calculator/action bucket, hit count, and expiry. Expired entries are removed by the daily maintenance task, subject to the scheduling delay described above.
- Nginx access logs record the client IP address, time, request, response status, referrer, browser user-agent, and forwarded-for value. The server rotates these logs daily and is configured to keep ten rotated files.
The most recent successful cleanup was recorded on October 25, 2026. The maintenance task is scheduled daily, but WordPress scheduled tasks depend on site requests and successful execution. Configured retention periods do not confirm that an individual record has already been deleted.
Cookies
WordPress authentication cookies are used for signed-in administrative sessions. Google Analytics 4 is active through Google Site Kit and may use measurement technologies for aggregate reporting. The site does not use advertising cookies or offer a public account registration system.
Who else is involved
- Hosting: the site runs on a single hosting environment, which stores everything described above on the site's behalf.
- Contact email: the site provides a mailto link only. If you use it, your email application and the recipient mailbox providers process the message; the site does not receive it through a web form.
- Bot protection: no third-party CAPTCHA or bot-protection service is enabled in the current site configuration.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 is active through Google Site Kit. Google determines its own processing and retention for data it receives through that service; this site does not use analytics data to create a calculator result or sell a user profile.
- Legal disclosure: information may be disclosed if required by law, or where strictly necessary to operate the service or protect it from abuse.
Your choices and how to exercise them
- Access and correction: requests can be sent through Contact. Calculator Core registers WordPress personal-data export and erasure handlers for PDF lead records. Calculator feedback and server access logs are not indexed by email address in the site's records.
- Deletion: PDF download lead records can be erased by email address through WordPress's personal-data erasure workflow.
- Follow-up checkbox: the current site stores its submitted status but does not run a verification, subscription, or unsubscribe process.
- No automated decisions: nothing on this site makes an automated decision about you, and no calculator result is used to profile you.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and WordPress stores account passwords as hashes. No system can promise that nothing will ever go wrong, so this policy does not claim that the site is breach-proof or that any particular encryption or certification is in place. If you believe the site has been compromised, use Contact immediately.
Children
This site is a technical reference for adults working with professional cleaning chemicals. It is not directed at children.
Visitors outside the United States
The site is published for a United States audience and is operated on the hosting environment described above. If you use it from elsewhere, you are sending your information to that environment, and the practices in this policy apply. This policy is written to describe what the site actually does; it is not a claim of compliance with any particular privacy framework, and a reader with a specific legal question should take their own advice.
